ROUND ROCK, Texas - The Concordia Texas women's soccer team was bested in a home contest against Howard Payne by a score of 1-0. Prior to the match, the Tornados honored nine student-athletes for Senior Day at the RRMPC.

CTX was the aggressors offensively for most of the match as they outshot the Yellowjackets 18-10 (10-5 SOG). 

Both teams would see opportunities to score in the first half, but the defenses would remain firm heading into the intermission. It would be much of the same in the second half, until a late free kick in the 89th found a Yellowjackets forward in the box for a score.

Concordia Texas will next host SAGU this Tuesday, September 24th at 7pm.
