ABILENE, Texas - The Concordia Texas men's tennis team competed in the ITA Division III Men's Southwest Tournament over the course of four days. Sophomore Steven Scholz highlighted the evented as he made it to the Flight A championship match in singles play.

Scholz went 5-1 at the ITA Regional and had match point 11 times in the second set of the finals (6-4, 6[20]-7[22], 5-7). Freshmen Aaron Griffin & Graham Beevers also impressed at the event as they both appeared in the championship match of their respective brackets. Griffin appeared in the flight C championship match, while Beevers was a Flight C consolation finalist.

With the conclusion of the ITA Regional, Concordia Texas will await word on if Scholz will receive an at-large bid to the ITA Cup after his impressive fall campaign.
