Newport News, Virginia - The Concordia Texas men's soccer team showed grit on the road in a 3-3 decision against (RV) Christopher Newport. Theo Givens notched one goal & one assist, while Antonio Rios tallied a pair of assists at Captains Field on Friday.

The Tornados struck first in the 32nd when Givens found Jesse Garfias with a cross from left to the back door. Justin a few minutes later, the Captains would tie the game heading into halftime.

CTX found success with the counterattack when Rios fed a through ball to Alejandro Rojas in the 54th. Christopher Newport tied the game once again in the 67th when a low pass found a Captains' forward for a goal. 

Concordia would once again capitalize on a counter when beautiful passing turned into a give and go goal from Rios & Givens in the 78th. The Captains would muster another equalizer in the 82nd off a corner kick to produce a draw.

The Tornados will turn right back around and take on Virginia Wesleyan tomorrow at 6pm.
