WESTWORTH VILLAGE, Texas - The Concordia Texas men's golf team tied for fifth overall at the Crusader Cup, which serves as the official SCAC Preview for the spring campaign. Freshman
Jackson Reynolds used a career-best first round to to for seventh individually at the Hawks Creek Golf Club.
Reynolds fired a 71 (-1) in round one, and produced a solid score of 74 to finish +1 at the event.
Parker Smith finished two shots behind Reynolds with a score of 72-75 as he tallied three straight of his team-high six birdies on holes 13-15 in round one.
Jacob Limon had an impressive outing, competiting as an individual at the tournament, where he tied for 20th overall at 74-76 (+6).
Kaden English posted a +8 score of 73-79 to tie for 31st.
Rounding out the scoring for CTX, four individuals in
Dylan Buckley,
Shon Dellinger,
Jacob Limon, and
Devlin Padilla all tied for 50th at +16.

Concordia Texas will next head to Abilene, Texas to compete in the Abilene Intercollegiate at the Live Oak Golf Club on October 20-21st.
