SEGUIN, Texas - The Concordia Texas softball team was bested by a score of 17-4 against Texas Lutheran. Mallory Mata posted a game-high three RBIs at Ed Kruse Stadium on Friday.

The Tornados struck first when a Mayson Post RBI-single to centerfield scored Malarie Mican in the top of the first. The Bulldogs answered in the bottom of the frame with 10 runs and another three in the second. 

The Tornados found life in the top of the fourth when Mata connected on a bases-clearing double to make the score 13-4. The Bulldogs would respond with four runs in the bottom of the fourth as they would go on to earn the victory.

The Tornados will look to take both games of the doubleheader with Texas Lutheran tomorrrow. First pitch is set for 12pm.
