Men's Basketball Upended by Dallas

The Tornados win streak halted at six on Sunday.

AUSTIN, Texas - The Concordia Texas men's basketball team was downed in a 88-82 contest against the University of Dallas. Joey Ramirez flirted with a double-double inside the Deb & Don Christian Center on Sunday.

Both teams traded runs in the first half as the game was tied at 41-all at the two-minute mark. The Crusaders finished the first half on an 8-0 run to carry a 49-41 lead into the break. 

It was an even battle in the second half as well as Dallas kept CTX at an arm's length throughout the half. The Tornados would finally make it a two-possession game when Aaron San Miguel found Ciro Baeza for a three to make it 86-80 with 12 seconds left, but Dallas knocked down a free throw to ultimately put the game away.
