Kylie Kirk recorded the sixth no-hitter in program history in game one.

SHERMAN, Texas - History was made in game one of the doubleheader against Austin College, where Kylie Kirk recorded the program's sixth no-hitter (first since 2018, Jorden Russell). The Tornados earned their third straight series sweep as their nine-game win streak is the longest since 2011.

GAME ONE: W, 10-0 (5 Innings)

CTX got up 4-0 in the first inning with with an Addison Lehew RBI-double that scored Malarie Mican to start things off. Taylor Smrt would then triple to right center and score Lehew & Molly Olivarez. Capping off the inning was Smrt again as she capitalized on a passed ball.

Smrt would come up big again in the third with a RBI-double to score Kirk. Karlee Mathis then made it 6-0 with a RBI-single that rounded Smrt home. Mican & Denaro made it 8-0 in the fourth with a pair of fast running on the base pads.

They would then claim a 10-0 lead in the top of the fifth with a Mathis sac-bunt & Coleman RBI-single. Earning the no-hitting, Kirk would strikeout the first two batters of the fifth & throw out the final batter.

GAME TWO: W, 8-5

The Tornados got the scoring started in the third with a Lehew RBI-double that scored Denaro. The Roos' matched them on the scoreboard in the bottom of the frame, but CTX would respond with three more runs in the top of the fourth.

Austin College made it 6-2 with a run scored in the bottom of the sixth, but Concordia collected a pair of insurance runs with a clutch two-RBI triple from Denaro that scored Scout Payne & Mican.
