AUSTIN, Texas - The Concordia Texas volleyball team was bested in a four-set duel against Colorado College. Emma Rosier (32 assists) notched a new career-high, while Brooklynne Fitzgerald (23 kills) & Isabella Martinez (five aces) both matched their previous plateaus inside the Deb & Don Christian Fieldhouse on Saturday.

The Tigers surged ahead to a 6-0 lead to start the game. Their lead would grow to as large as 20-11 before a 6-1 run capped by Kinlea Reeder brought CTX with in four. Colorado would then find the final points for a 25-19 win in game one.

Both teams would trade impressive runs as the Tigers would be up 23-22. Poised play by CTX would see Colorado College post two attacking errors to give Concordia the lead. The Tornados would then even the series at one-apiece with a kill by Haylee Diebel.

The Tigers led 13-11 and used a 6-1 run to gain control of set three as they would win it 25-19. Set four was similar as they were ahead 15-12 and closed the match out on a 10-3 flurry.

Concordia Texas will next head to Kerrville, Texas to take on Schreiner University on Friday, September 26th. First serve is scheduled for 6pm.
