SEGUIN, Texas - The Concordia Texas women's basketball team fell short on the road in 77-66 contest at Texas Lutheran University. Junior forward
Shanna Brown exploded for a season-high 30 points to go along with 10 boards inside Memorial Gymnasium on Monday.
The Tornados trailed early prior to A'ja Holmes knocking down back-to-back threes early in the first quarter for a 9-8 Bulldogs advantage. TLU would extend their lead throughout the first half to carry a 38-25 lead into halftime.

Concordia would put together a strong comeback effort, sparked by a coast-to-coast layup by
Katelyn Tietjen as the Tornados would end the game on 17-7 run, but the Bulldogs held up for the victory.
