SUWANEE, Georgia - Concordia Texas men's soccer swept Player of the Week honors with goalie
Leonel Cuellar and midfielder
Joseph Perez, the league's office announced on Monday. The duo's contributions helped the Tornados remain undefeated in SCAC play at 5-0, clinch a berth in the SCAC Tournament and move within one victory of securing a first-round bye.
Cuellar anchored Concordia University Texas defensively, recording back-to-back shutouts in the victories over Centenary and St. Thomas. The senior goalkeeper played all 180 minutes without conceding a goal, totaling eight saves across the two matches.
