COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. – The Concordia Texas women's basketball team faced one of the SCAC's top squads on Friday night, dropping a 69–44 road contest to Colorado College inside Reid Arena.

The Tornados struggled to find early rhythm, opening the night 2–14 from the field and trailing 12–4 after the first quarter. CTX settled in during the second frame, knocking down a pair of threes and getting a spark from its bench, but the Tigers used a 22‑point quarter to build a 34–16 halftime advantage.

Concordia showed its best stretch coming out of the break, shooting 41 percent in the third quarter behind strong interior play from Samantha Ising, who finished with 7 rebounds and a key put‑back bucket. The Tornados continued to compete in the fourth, scoring 18 points and going a perfect 8–8 at the free‑throw line, but Colorado College's balanced scoring and transition play kept the margin intact.

Aja Holmes led CTX with an efficient 19 points on 6–15 shooting, including a perfect 6–6 at the stripe. Briann Warehime added 10 points with two made threes, while Katelyn Tietjen chipped in 9 points, 3 assists, and a pair of steals. Concordia's bench contributed 23 points, highlighted by Holmes and Alexa Romero's four points and four rebounds.
