AUSTIN, Texas – The Concordia Texas softball team delivered a dominant performance at home, sweeping Centenary College in a doubleheader at Roberts Family Field. CTX secured an 8-0 victory in six innings in game one before closing the day with a 9-0 win in five innings in the nightcap.
Concordia's pitching staff kept the Ladies off the scoreboard across both contests, completing the doubleheader sweep in convincing fashion. Junior Kylie Kirk struck out nine batters and homored in game one.
Game One: W, 8-0 (6 Innings)
The Tornados wasted no time getting on the board in the first inning as Kirk doubled to left field to plate Malarie Mican and give CTX a 1-0 lead.
