SUWANEE, Georgia - Concordia Texas men's tennis athlete Steven Scholz has been named the SCAC Men's Tennis Singles Player of the week, the league's office announced on Monday.

Scholz set the tone in the season & conference opener for Concordia Texas in a 7-0 victory over Texas Lutheran. The junior defeated Cash Herrera on flight one with a dominant 6-1, 6-0 win.

You can next see Scholz and the Tornados in action this Saturday when they travel to San Antonio to take on Trinity University. First serve is set for 10am.
