SUWANEE, Ga. - Concordia Texas men's tennis junior Steven Scholz has been named the SCAC Singles Player of the Week, the league's office announced on Monday. The junior earned the nod for the second time this season.

Scholz turned in a strong week at the No. 1 singles position for the Tornados, picking up two impressive straight-set victories against strong competition.

Scholz defeated WASHU's Jeremy Sieben 6-1, 6-4 and followed with another dominant performance against Colorado College's Dominik Kaminski, winning 6-2, 6-3.
