AUSTIN, Texas - Concordia Texas Softball delivered a dominant showing on Saturday at Roberts Family Field, sweeping Austin College in a doubleheader with two shutout victories.

Game One: W, 6-0
The Tornados opened the day with a strong all-around performance, shutting out Austin College 6-0 behind a historic outing in the circle.

Kylie Kirk, the reigning SCAC Pitcher of the Week, tied the program's single-game strikeout record once again, recording 10 strikeouts in a complete-game two-hit shutout. She worked around traffic throughout the game, allowing just two hits while striking out double-digit batters.

Offensively, Concordia got on the board in the second inning with three runs before adding three more in the fifth to break the game open.

Molly Olivarez led the way with two hits and two RBIs, while Mia Post continued her strong day at the plate with three hits. Karlee Mathis added an RBI, and the Tornados capitalized on timely hitting and aggressive baserunning to build separation.

Game Two: W, 4-0
Concordia completed the sweep with another shutout, defeating Austin College 4-0 in the nightcap.

Karlee Mathis was also dominant in the circle, tossing a complete-game shutout while limiting Austin to seven hits and keeping the Roos off the scoreboard throughout.

The Tornados struck early, plating two runs in the first inning before adding two more in the third to take control of the game.

Kylie Denaro drove in a run to get things started, while Kamryn Kothman added two RBIs. Mia Post contributed an RBI, and Kylie Kirk helped set the tone offensively with a pair of hits and aggressive baserunning.

Concordia's defense backed Mathis throughout, turning in a clean performance in the field to secure the second shutout of the day.
