AUSTIN, Texas - Concordia Texas Softball continued its dominant run with an 11-2 victory over Hendrix on Saturday at Roberts Family Field, powered by a relentless offensive attack and solid pitching in the circle.

After Hendrix struck first with a two-run homer in the opening inning, the Tornados responded immediately. CTX answered with three runs in the bottom of the first, highlighted by an RBI double from Kylie Denaro, a sacrifice fly from Kylie Kirk, and an RBI single from Lilly Longoria to take a 3-2 lead.

Concordia added to its lead in the third inning on a sacrifice bunt from Christian Everett that brought in a run, followed by another run in the fourth on an RBI single from Molly Olivarez to make it 5-2.

The Tornados broke the game open in the fifth inning, erupting for six runs on five hits. Everett, Harley Drouillard, Kirk, and Olivarez all drove in runs during the frame, capping off the run-rule victory.

Offensively, CTX totaled 15 hits, led by Denaro's 3-for-3 (two triples, one double) performance with three runs scored. Olivarez added three hits and three RBI, while Longoria also went a perfect 3-for-3 with an RBI. Kirk chipped in three RBI, and Everett finished with two RBI.

In the circle, Mia Post earned the win, tossing five innings and allowing just two runs on six hits while striking out six.

Concordia Texas will next travel to Belton, Texas to take on UMHB this Monday, March 30th. First pitch of the doubleheader is scheduled for 3pm.
