The Tornados struck first with a two-run opening inning. Samuel Ortiz singled and Alonzo doubled to set the table before Jett Warner ripped a two-run ground-rule double to give CTX the early lead.
ETBU answered with two runs in the first, added another pair in the second, and took a 5-2 advantage after a solo homer in the third inning.
Concordia responded in the fourth when Riley launched a two-run homer & Alonzo followed with a solo homer in the fifth to even the score at 5-all.
The Tigers answered in the bottom half of the fifth with the game-changing grand slam that pushed ETBU ahead 9-5. Riley added his second homer of the day in the ninth inning, but Concordia could not complete the comeback.
