GREENSBORO, North Carolina - The Concordia Texas baseball team has landed a pair of standouts on the ABCA/Rawlings All-Region Teams. Seniors
Kalen Clark (Second Team) and
Landon Hyle (Third Team) made the list, the committee announced on Tuesday.
The Rawlings/ABCA All-Region Teams are voted on by members of the American Baseball Coaches Association and recognize the top performers from across each region in NCAA Division III baseball.
Kalen Clark (First Baseman)
Clark, who was an All-SCAC Honorable Mention selection this season, lands on the All-Region Second Team for the second consecutive year. Reaching base in all 46 games he played this season, Clark's on-base streak reached 48 (dating back to last season). He turned in one of the most complete offensive seasons for the Tornados, hitting .364 with a team-best 1.157 OPS.
He led the team and the SCAC with ten home runs and was fifth in the conference with 42 RBIs. He also added 18 doubles, finishing with 60 hits, and a team-best 54 runs scored. Clark also posted an impressive .502 on-base percentage, anchoring the lineup with both power and consistency.
The grad senior caps a spectacular career finishing second in the program's history with 45 doubles, tied for seventh with 21 homeruns, eighth with 136 runs scored, and ninth with a .570 slugging percentage.
Landon Hyle (Outfielder)
Hyle, who was a All-SCAC First Team member this year, played in a team-high 47 games this season. The senior helped lead the Tornados with a dominant offensive season, hitting .344 with a 1.006 OPS.
He totaled a team-best 62 hits, including 15 doubles and seven home runs, while driving in 48 runs and scoring 44. Hyle also posted a .439 on-base percentage and added five stolen bases, consistently setting the tone in the heart of the lineup.

D3Baseball.com Team of the Week after a standout stretch where he hit .611 with 12 RBIs in a four-game span.
