Baseball Summer Camp Information

SUMMER YOUTH DAY CAMPS

  • Camp 3: July 11-14, 2022 
    • (9 a.m. - 4 p.m.; ends at 1 p.m. on final day)

  • Cost: $330 per camper
  • Eligibility: Boys ages 6-13 only
 
 
Please note the following protocols and procedures, as mandated by the State of Texas and University Officials, that will be observed at all 2022 Concordia Baseball Summer Camps:
  • Each camp will be limited to follow health and safety protocols from local, state and University officials; split into groups of 8 – 10 campers based on age that will remain consistent for the duration of camp
  • Each group will have at least 1 possibly 2 dedicated coaches that will stay with that group for the duration of camp
  • Mixing between groups is discouraged
  • Parents/guardians will be allowed to attend camps, but must remain in stands (masked and socially distanced)
  • Drop-off and picking-up of campers will be in designated areas only
  • Assigned coaches/staff will check campers in and out of camp at designated areas
  • We ask that All forms/waivers be completed before the start of camp
  • All camp activities will take place outside and in the event of inclement weather, the camp will be moved indoors where sanitation and social distancing guidelines will continue to be followed
  • Water stations, regularly monitored and sanitized, will be available to campers only
 

About the Youth Day Camp: The Concordia youth baseball camps will consist of learning the fundamentals of the game and applying techniques to improves skills on the diamond. Each camper will have a chance to gain experience in fielding, throwing and hitting in both camps taught by a collegiate coaching staff and a former Major League Baseball player that have won a American Southwest Conference Tournament championship and reached the NCAA Regional Round in the past three years. Campers will have a chance to experience a brand new turfed field, new indoor batting cages, a new clubhouse and an updated camp format. Campers will also participate in scrimmages during the week. Lunch will be provided on Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday.

Registrations are currently being accepted online. Please note: all campers need to turn in a registration and waiver form prior to participating in camp. A $100 deposit can be submitted through the mail to secure your spot (space is limited).The remainder of the fee will be due by the start of camp. Concordia accepts checks and credit card payments. Payment should be submitted along with the waiver form.

*Note- In the case of canceled registrations or missed camp days due to a positive COVID result or exposure from a CTX camp, registrants may request prorated refund. All refunds will have administrative and processing fees.  Please consult your camp director for further details.

LOCATION
All Concordia boys baseball camps will be held at Tornado Field, which is located on campus.Thefield is equipped with a Field Turf surface and is one of the top college baseball facilities at the NCAA Division III level.

WHAT TO BRING
Campers should wear rubber molded cleats, flat turf shoes or regular running shoes (no metal spikes), baseball pants or shorts and a hat. Campers should also bring their gloves, bats and helmets. If coming as a catcher, please bring catcher's equipment, if available. Concordia will not provide catcher's gear for the camp. Campers should also bring a water bottle, sunscreen and a towel.
