• 2013 American Southwest Conference Spring Academic Honor Roll

2013 (Junior)
Played in 26 games, earning 15 starts … hit .298 (17-for-57) with four doubles and 11 RBIs … scored five runs, drew five walks and stole a base … posted four multi-hit and multi-RBI games … was 3-for-6 with two RBIs against Louisiana College (May 4) … tied together a six-game hitting streak from March 29-April 6 … earned ASC Spring Academic Honor Roll accolades.

2012 (Sophomore)
Made one appearance in the team’s 15-3 win over Southwestern (Feb. 4).

Prior to Concordia Texas
Spent one year as a catcher at Marion [Ala.] Military Institute … finished the season with a .300 batting average to go along with 18 RBIs and 14 runs scored … received the Scholar-Athlete Award.

High School
Four-year letter winner as a catcher at Antonian College Preparatory High School … team posted a 21-6 ledger during junior season and a 22-6 record during senior campaign … captained the team as a senior and was a four-time first-team all-district pick … also voted second-team all-state … two-time academic all-state selection … also lettered in football as a linebacker and fullback for three seasons, helping the team post a combined 19-11 record in that span … member of the National Honor Society.

Son of Terry and Mary Anne Smith … has one brother, Josh … majoring in business, with emphasis in accounting.
