AS A FRESHMAN

Started three contests and appeared in two more in 2004 … recorded one hit in six plate appearances, while tallying one run.

Three-time varsity letterman at Deer Park High … member of National Honor Society, Who’s Who Among American High School Students, and National Math Honor Society … participated in the AAU Junior Olympics in 1999 … earned best all-around player honors after his 2000 and 2001 seasons, as well as honorable mention accolades as a shortstop.
