2013 (Junior)
Appeared in 12 contests on the mound, including 11 starts … posted a 5-5 record with a 5.54 ERA in 50.1 innings of work … struck out 33 batters and walked 24 … named ASC West Division Pitcher of the Week on Feb. 26 after hurling a three-hit, seven-inning shutout against Louisiana College (Feb. 23) … also combined on a shutout against Howard Payne (March 9), as he allowed only one hit and fanned four over six frames … led the conference with five pickoffs.

2012 (Sophomore)
Made eight appearances and four starts on the mound … named American Southwest Conference West Division Pitcher of the Week on Feb. 21 … posted a 2.74 earned run average and a perfect 3-0 ledger … registered 30 strikeouts in 23 innings of work and held opponents to a .209 batting average … struck out four over two shutout innings of relief in a 15-3 win over Southwestern (Feb. 4) … picked up first career victory by throwing five scoreless stanzas in a 15-3 triumph against Howard Payne (Feb. 10) … fanned five and yielded only one hit … had a breakout performance by striking out a career-high 13 batters without issuing a walk over eight frames in a 4-1 win versus Whitman (Feb. 16) … also allowed just two hits … earned third win of the season in an 8-0 road victory over nationally-ranked Texas-Tyler (Feb. 25) by hurling four shutout innings … struck out four and allowed only three hits in the relief effort.

2011 (Freshman)
Appeared in seven games, making three starts on the mound … registered an 0-4 ledger and a 6.62 ERA … added 15 strikeouts over 17.2 innings … hurled two shutout frames and struck out three in collegiate debut to help the Tornados post a 10-6 win versus Whitman (Feb. 12) … struck out another three hitters in 5.1 innings of relief at Mary Hardin-Baylor a week later.

High School
Four-year letter winner as a pitcher, third baseman and outfielder at Brenham High School … team was state champions in 2010 and a state semifinalist in 2009 … also played football as a quarterback for one year … an Honor Roll student … member of the Spanish Club.

Personal
Son of Rita Krueger and Greg Weinschenk, as well as Allison Weinschenk (stepmom) and Tony Krueger (stepdad) … has one brother, Jacob Weinschenk, and two sisters, Madelynn Krueger and Addie Weinschenk … a communication major.
