LONGVIEW, TX – The Concordia University Texas women's soccer team fell to LeTourneau University on Friday afternoon. The Tornado's took the game to overtime before losing 2-1(OT) to their American Southwest Conference (ASC) rival. With the loss Concordia falls to 4-8-2 overall with a record of 3-6 in conference play, while LeTourneau improves to 5-9-0 overall with a 4-5-0 record in conference play.

The Tornado's struck first when Kiera Ruck scored an unassisted goal in the 30th minute of the game. The Yellow Jackets came back to tie the game at 1-1 in the 89th minute of the game and force overtime. LeTourneau scored the game winning overtime goal in the 98th minute of the game.

Concordia goalie Elizabeth Hall recorded 9 saves for the game. The Tornados were out-shot 30-8 by the Yellow Jackets.

The Concordia University Texas women's soccer team will go back to work on October 18, 2008 when they travel to East Texas Baptist University. The game is scheduled to begin at 6:00 PM.
