Longview, TX- Concordia University Texas women's basketball team (2-1, 2-1 ASC) picked up another win over Letourneau University (2-6, 1-2 ASC), 80-55 in American Southwest Conference play Saturday night in Longview at the Solheim Arena. The Tornados held the lead throughout the match up. 

Concordia jumped out to an 6-0 lead in the first two minutes, and led by 14 at the half, 40-26. The Tornados stretched the margin to as many as 28 in the second half. 

Concordia finished with four players scoring in double digits, led by guard Kassandra Bills with 19 points. Lori Lee Back finished with 14 points, Whitney Clancy added 12 points while Jennifer Herman had 10 points. 

Concordia out rebounded LeTourneau 43-33, including 20-12 on the offensive glass. Jamiliah Tyson led LETU in scoring with 12 points. 

Concordia will travel to East Texas Baptist University on Monday in Marshall, Texas. Tipoff is scheduled for 5:30 pm.
