Alexandria, LA - The Concordia women's soccer team picked up their first American Southwest Conference (ASC) win against Louisiana College in a 2-0 victory on the road. The victory puts Concordia at 2-2-2 overall and 1-0 in the ASC play. While the loss drops Louisiana College to 0-5-1 in the season and 0-1 in the ASC.

The Tornado goals were scored by Chelsea Goates (Rosenberg, TX) in the first half and Kiera Ruck (Houston, TX) in the second half. Both goals were unassisted.

Louisiana College outshot Concordia 14-13 although Tornado goalkeeper Cricket Hall (Pflugerville, TX) had eight saves in the shutout.

Concordia will be back in action on Saturday, as they travel to play Mississippi College in Clinton, MS. The match is scheduled for 2:00 pm.
