ABILENE, Texas -- The Concordia University Texas women's basketball team dropped a 101-74 decision against Hardin-Simmons University on Thursday night at the Mabee Complex.  Concordia (7-11, 5-9 ASC) is decimated by injuries, playing without four starters and three others.
The Tornados had only six players score on the night.  Freshman guard #Brianna Smith# led CTX with 19 points and nine rebounds.  Freshman guard #Margaret Milling# had 16 and seven assists, while freshman post #Skylar Lott# put in 15.  Senior forward #Kerrie Carter# also put in double digits with 11 points on the night.
Concordia trailed Hardin-Simmons (10-7, 7-6 ASC) by only six points at halftime (49-43).  However, the Cowgirls' depth proved to be too much for the Tornados.  Hardin-Simmons' bench outscored Concordia's 38-16.  
Bo Warm led Hardin-Simmons with 20 points.
Concordia will remain in Abilene for two more days to play McMurry University on Saturday at 1 p.m.
