TYLER, Texas --- The University of Concordia Texas men's soccer team dropped its third straight contest Saturday losing 7-0 to the University of Texas-Tyler at the Citizen's First Soccer Complex. Six different Patriots scored as CTX drops its record to (4-10, 2-7 ASC) while UTT moves to (8-2-1, 7-1-1 ASC).
The Tornados ran into one of the ASC's best Saturday afternoon, and were outshot 19-3 in a match that was decided very early.
Texas-Tyler initiated the action in the 13th minute when a Noah Shipman goal gave the Patriots a 1-0 lead. Chris Powell scored another goal shortly after and from there the floodgates opened for UTT.
