AUSTIN, Texas -- The Concordia University Texas baseball and softball teams have made their first adjustments to their 2010 schedules. The Tornados baseball team has officially canceled all three games this weekend due to the accumulation of snow in the Dallas-Fort Worth area. The Concordia softball team has changed its opening day games to be played at Southwestern University.
The Tornados softball team was originally scheduled to open up its 2010 season against Southwestern at Old Settlers Park in Round Rock. However, a late rain storm this week has forced the game to be moved up to Southwestern's field in Georgetown. The doubleheader is still scheduled to begin at 1 p.m.
The CTX baseball team was originally scheduled to head to play Texas Wesleyan University on Sunday and then play the University of Texas-Dallas on Monday. No makeup date has been announced.
