BROWNWOOD, Texas --- Howard Payne collected two goals in a 30 second time frame Friday as the Yellow Jackets defeated Concordia University in American Southwest Conference action in Brownwood.

The loss drops CTX's record to 3-4-0, 1-2-0 ASC and HPU moves to 4-1-1. 2-1-0 ASC on the year.

Howard Payne held a 1-0 advantage before Sebastian Parra scored off an uncleared ball in the box to even the game in the 52nd minute. The score moved to 2-1 Howard Payne thanks to a Shane Cazad goal just eight minutes later.

The Yellow Jackets then opened up the match recording two goals in a 30 second time span giving HPU a 4-1 lead. Parra delivered his sixth point of the season off a Drew Kasper assist when he found the back of the net in the 87th minute, leaving Concordia with a 4-2 defeat.

CTX picked up 18 shots in the match, but just three were attempted on goal. Brian Friend, Gary Grossman and Sebastian Parra all recorded four shots while goalkeeper Jacob Stern made six saves moving his record to 2-2 on the year.

Howard Payne's Shane Cazad picked up two goals in the match while goalkeeper Kyle Huesing made one save on the afternoon.

CTX is set to take on Mary Hardin-Baylor today in Belton at 3:00 p.m.
