VICTORIA, Texas -- The Wes Schevers era has started on the right foot as the Concordia University Texas men's soccer team claimed a 1-0 shutout win at Houston-Victoria on Friday evening.

Schevers is in his first season as collegiate head coach and first year with the Tornados.
