BOX SCORE

Abilene, Texas
- Freshman Kendall Williams set two single-match school records by netting four goals and accumulating eight points to propel the Concordia University Texas women's soccer team to a 6-1 victory over McMurry on Saturday, Sept. 17 at Edwards Field. Classmate Marcia Kaiser added her first two career goals to also lead the Tornados in the rout.

Williams helped Concordia take full control of the match early by putting together the quickest natural hat trick in program history. She scored her first two goals less than two minutes apart at the 11:42 and 12:49 marks before being set up by Lena New for her third tally midway through the opening half. The three goals were scored in a span of only 9:44.

In the second half, Williams became the first player in program history to record four goals in a single match when she found the back of the net off a pass from Kaiser. The Tornados were not done yet, as Kaiser scored her first two career goals in the 68th and 83rd minutes of action to make it 6-0. Kristen Grant got McMurry on the board in the waning minutes, but it was too little, too late as the Tornados were still able to come away with the convincing win.

Concordia's Olivia Jablinski was the winning goalkeeper and improved her ledger to 3-2 overall after making four saves on six chances. She was relieved in the 80th minute by Andria Rosales, who failed to record a save on her only opportunity. Bianca Van Osdol suffered the loss for McMurry (1-4, ASC 0-2) after making five saves on 13 chances in the first half. Makenzie Hargrove turned away four of the 12 shots she faced in relief during the second frame.

Concordia (3-3, ASC 1-1) will continue conference play when it hosts Howard Payne on Thursday, Sept. 22 at 1 p.m.

Notes: Kendall Williams recorded the quickest natural hat trick in program history before adding her record-breaking fourth tally in the second half ... The other natural hat tricks were recorded by Rachel Green on Sept. 9, 2006 in a 6-1 win over Southwestern Assemblies of God and Amanda Tarpley on Oct. 30, 2010 in Concordia's 7-0 victory against Louisiana College ... Green accomplished the feat in exactly 34 minutes, while Tarpley scored her first and third goals 33:40 apart ... Williams became the fourth player overall to net at least three goals in a single match, as Chastity Carrillo also recorded a hat trick against Huston-Tillotson last season on Sept. 20, 2010.
