AUSTIN, Texas – The Concordia University Texas women's soccer team will look to get back to its winning ways on Saturday, as it travels to play East Texas Baptist. The American Southwest Conference (ASC) match is scheduled to kick off at 1 p.m. at Cornish Field in Marshall, Texas.
The Tornados (4-3-2, 2-1-0 ASC) split a pair of league matches on the road last weekend. Concordia Texas posted a 2-1 win at Howard Payne last Saturday, but suffered a 2-0 setback at then-No. 11 Hardin-Simmons the following day.

Chastity Carrillo continues to lead the the Tornados with 13 total points. The El Paso, Texas, native has amassed seven assists, which is tied for third in the league, in addition to her three goals. Junior
Alex Price has registered a team-leading four goals this fall.
The Tigers (4-4-0, 3-1-0 ASC), who sit one-half game clear of Concordia in the league standings, are coming off a 2-1 victory over Mary Hardin-Baylor on Thursday. East Texas Baptist received a second-half score from Paola Bear to clinch the ASC win.
Christina Robles leads the Tigers with 10 total points (4 goals/2 assists), while Bear has racked up five (2 goals/1 assist).
Saturday's contest will be the 13th between the two clubs with the Tigers holding a 9-3 advantage in the all-time series. However, the Tornados have won the last three meetings, including a 2-0 victory on Sept. 22, 2012 in the Capital City.
