CLARKSVILLE, Ark. – Senior Chastity Carrillo scored twice and the Concordia University Texas women's soccer team shut out Ozarks, 3-0, in an American Southwest Conference (ASC) match on Thursday afternoon at Hurie Soccer Field.

Carrillo netted her first score in the 33rd minute, which stood up as the game-winner for the Tornados (5-3-3, 3-1-1 ASC). Junior Lena New found the El Paso, Texas, native with a pass and Carrillo then beat Lady Eagles goalkeeper Codie Freeman in a one-on-one battle.

Fifteen minutes later, junior Alex Price doubled Concordia Texas' advantage.

Senior Marcia Kaiser set up Price in the box, and the Corpus Christi, Texas, native finished with her right foot.

Carrillo capped the scoring in the 60th minute when she found the back of the net on a pass from Price.

Freshman Megan Frontiera posted three saves and recorded her fourth clean sheet of the season.

The Tornados outshot Ozarks (6-9-0, 1-5-0 ASC), 14-6, and held a 7-3 advantage in shots on goal.

Concordia will play at Texas-Dallas on Saturday. Kick-off is slated for 1 p.m. at the UTD Soccer Field in Richardson, Texas.
