RICHARDSON, Texas – For the second consecutive match, third-seeded Mary Hardin-Baylor has used late heroics to edge the No. 6 Concordia University Texas women's soccer team. This time, Kathryn Parker posted the game-winner with only one second left in regulation and helped the Cru to a 1-0 victory over the Tornados in the American Southwest Conference (ASC) Tournament on Thursday afternoon at the UTD Soccer Complex.

Parker's last-second goal was set up by a flick ahead from Allison Porter. The freshman striker, who took 11 shots in the match, found the back of the net to send her team through to the semifinals.

Concordia Texas (6-7-3) took 12 shots in the contest, including seven on target. However, Mary Hardin-Baylor (14-3) goalkeeper Courtney Craig netted seven saves to preserve the shutout.

The Cru attempted 22 shots on the day, including nine on goal.

Tornados goalkeeper Megan Frontiera posted a game-high eight saves.

Mary Hardin-Baylor will face No. 2 seed Texas-Dallas at 2 p.m. on Friday.
