AUSTIN, Texas – The Concordia University Texas women's soccer team will close out its three-match road trip when it travels to crosstown foe Huston-Tillotson on Wednesday night. The non-conference tilt is slated to kick off at 7 p.m. at Stassney Field.

The Tornados (1-1-1) are coming off a scoreless draw at Texas Wesleyan last Sunday. In the non-conference match, Concordia Texas held an explosive offensive scoreless. The Lady Rams averaged six goals per game prior to the meeting with the Tornados.

Freshman goalkeeper Megan Frontiera collected eight saves against Texas Wesleyan and logged her second shutout of the season.

Meanwhile, juniors Alex Price and Jordan James pace CTX at the offensive end. Price accumulated two goals in the season-opening victory against Texas Lutheran on Sept. 2, while James scored her first goal of the campaign at Dallas last Saturday.

The Lady Rams (1-3-0) enter the mid-week affair on a three-match losing streak. Huston-Tillotson dropped a 2-0 decision at Lubbock Christian on Saturday in Lubbock. The Lady Rams' lone victory was a 5-1 decision at Schreiner in the season opener on Aug. 24.

Huston-Tillotson has been outscored 9-3 during its losing streak. Victoria Elizalde and Courtney Wilcut each have netted three goals to pace the Lady Rams, while Angelica Erazo is averaging 10.3 saves per match.

Wednesday's contest marks the seventh meeting between the two schools with Concordia holding a dominating 6-0 lead in the all-time series, which dates back to 2008. The Tornados posted a 2-1 win in last year's meeting on Sept. 9, as James and Price both scored.
