THE RUNDOWN
ABILENE, Texas –
The Concordia University Texas women's basketball team held on to knock off Hardin-Simmons in overtime, 55-52, on Thursday evening at the Mabee Complex.

The Tornados (7-7, 5-6 ASC) had a 48-46 lead late in the second half, but Taylor Klement was fouled and hit a pair of shots from the charity stripe with four seconds to play to send the contest into overtime.

In the extra session, Concordia Texas took a 54-52 advantage on Ally Terry's jumper with 28 seconds remaining. On the ensuing possession, the Cowgirls (5-8, 5-5 ASC) gave it to Klement, but her final attempt was blocked by Shelby Dixon. Margaret Milling was then fouled and hit one of two free throws to seal the victory.
