ALPINE, Texas –
Ally Terry scored 12 points and grabbed a career-high 17 rebounds, and the Concordia University Texas women's basketball team held off Sul Ross State to earn a 75-68 victory in an American Southwest Conference contest on Thursday evening at the Gallego Center.

Terry was 4-of-7 from the floor and 4-for-6 at the free-throw line. The 6-foot-1 center grabbed six of her 17 boards on the offensive glass, and she handed out two assists, blocked one shot and collected a steal.

Meanwhile, three other Tornados (8-8, 6-7 ASC) reached double figures in the scoring column, led by Margaret Milling's game-high 13 points. Kia Love scored 11 points and grabbed nine rebounds, while Tyler Compton added 10 points and picked up four steals.

The game was tied at 63-63 with 5:22 remaining before Terry knocked down a free throw to give Concordia Texas the lead for good.

The Tornados stretched their lead to as much as seven in the final minutes before earning the victory.

Mercedes Orozco paced the Lady Lobos (1-15, 0-13 ASC) with 11 points.

HIGHLIGHTS
• Ally Terry's 17 rebounds are the most by a CTX player since Lanean Harris set the program's Division III record with 20 boards against Schreiner on Feb. 2, 2008.
• The Tornados scored 36 of their 75 points in the paint.
• Concordia grabbed 57 rebounds, including 20 on the offensive glass. The 57 boards is the second-most this season by the Tornados (63 vs. Sul Ross State on Dec. 7).
• CTX shot a season-high 46.7 percent (7-of-15) from behind the three-point line.
• The Tornados committed a season-low 13 fouls on Thursday, sending Sul Ross State to the free-throw line only nine times.

Concordia will wrap up its four-game road trip on Saturday at Howard Payne. Tip-off is scheduled for 1 p.m. at Brownwood Coliseum.
