AUSTIN, Texas –
Ally Terry scored a season-high 14 points, and the Concordia University Texas women's basketball team picked up a 62-49 victory over Ozarks in an American Southwest Conference (ASC) contest on Thursday evening at Concordia Fieldhouse.

Terry was 6-of-10 from the floor in 16 minutes off the bench. The local product out of McCallum High School also tied for the team lead with six rebounds, in addition to her two steals.

The Tornados (6-6, 4-5 ASC) shot 44.8 percent (26-of-58) from the field, including 42.9 percent (3-for-7) from behind the three-point line, en route to snapping a two-game skid.

Concordia Texas, which led 35-22 at halftime, had three other players join Terry in double figures – Margaret Milling (13 points), Tyler Compton (12) and Kia Love (10).

Meanwhile, the Lady Eagles (3-8, 2-6 ASC), who were limited to only 16 made field goals in 51 chances (.314) were led by RaShelle Goldman's 13 points off the bench. Taylor Farmer and Ashley Hipps each chipped in with 10 points apiece.

HIGHLIGHTS
• Concordia built a 13-point lead at halftime while shooting 60 percent (3-for-5) from beyond the arc.
• The Tornados held Ozarks to only 49 points, the lowest scored by a CTX opponent this season.
• Ally Terry scored in double digits for the second time this season. She surpassed her previous season high of 10 points, which was scored at Louisiana College on Nov. 30.
• Concordia's 42.9 percent shooting from downtown was its best mark this season.
• The Tornados also shot a season-best 77.8 percent (7-of-9) from the charity stripe.

WHAT'S NEXT
The Tornados will host league-leading Texas-Tyler at 1 p.m. on Saturday.
