VANCOUVER, British Columbia – The Concordia University Texas women's basketball team picked up its second exhibition victory in as many days with a 73-65 win over Capilano University on Wednesday night.
Celeste Laredo led the Tornados with 14 points.
"I thought we showed some good things in overcoming a slow start and learning how to play on back-to-back nights," head coach
Matt Wallis said. "We are still learning to execute at key points in the game. This week has been great for our growth, as we are learning how to play through tough situations."
Below is a copy of the scoresheet from Wednesday's contest. Concordia Texas will play one final game in their Canada tour. The Tornados will face Camosun at 5:30 p.m. on Thursday in Victoria, British Columbia.
