AUSTIN, Texas – The 20th-ranked Concordia University Texas baseball team will continue its campaign this weekend, as the Tornados host East Texas Baptist in a three-game American Southwest Conference series at Tornado Field. The set is slated to open at 7 p.m. Friday and will conclude with a 1 p.m. doubleheader a day later.
Concordia Texas (13-2, 10-1 ASC), which is off to its best start in program history, entered two national polls earlier this week following a series sweep of Hardin-Simmons last weekend in Abilene. The Tornados were ranked 20th in the first ABCA/
Collegiate Baseball Top 30 and moved up to 21st in the NCBWA/
