AUSTIN, Texas – The Concordia University Texas volleyball team was swept (25-23, 26-24, 25-12) by Texas-Tyler in an American Southwest Conference (ASC) match on Saturday afternoon at Concordia Fieldhouse.
The Patriots (9-6, 6-1 ASC) hit .269 and posted nine total blocks en route to the three-set victory. Courtney Criswell led the visitors with 10 kills.
The Tornados (7-7, 3-3 ASC) committed 21 attack errors and were limited to a .103 hitting percentage on the day.
Katie Baker posted her seventh double-double of the season, tallying a match-high 12 kills to go along with 11 digs.
Concordia Texas will return to action on Friday, Oct. 3, in a league match at East Texas Baptist. First serve is slated for 7 p.m. in Marshall.
