AUSTIN, Texas –
Jordan James scored two goals and led the Concordia University Texas women's soccer team to a 3-0 victory on Sunday evening.

James scored the second and third goals of the day for the Tornados (3-0), who remained unbeaten on the year. The Portland native posted both of her goals on breakaway chances. She broke free and raced ahead before slipping the ball past the Rams' goalkeeper in the 50th minute. Twenty-two minutes later, Maddison Hoskins played the ball ahead to James, who scored easily to close out the contest.

Nicole Henderson started the scoring in the 34th minute after scoring her first goal of the year.

James crossed the ball into the box and Alex Price headed it across the goal before Henderson collected it and sent it inside the far post.

Concordia Texas logged a 16-6 advantage in shot attempts. The Tornados also put nine of their 16 attempts on goal.

Kila Hartom registered four saves after coming in to the contest as a substitute to start the second half.

Concordia will return to action on Tuesday, Sept. 9, when the team travels to Georgetown for a non-conference tilt against Southwestern.
