BOX SCORE ABELINE, Texas -- The Concordia Texas women's soccer team fell 4-1 at Hardin-Simmons Saturday afternoon.

The Cowgirls scored three goals within the first 20 minutes of the contest and held a strong defense the rest of the way.

Hardin-Simmons would make it a 4-0 contest with 13 minutes remaining in the game. However, the Tornados would not go down without a fight.

In the closing minute, Nicole Henderson put Concordia on the board, converting on a pass from Maddison Hoskins.

The Tornados return home for Thursday matchup against Sul Ross at St. Stephen's. Kickoff is scheduled for 2 p.m.
