BOX SCORE MARSHALL, Texas -- The Concordia Texas women's soccer team closed out the road portion of its regular-season schedule with a 1-0 victory over East Texas Baptist Saturday afternoon.

The Tornados spoiled the Tigers' senior day with the clean sheet victory.

Nicole Young tallied the contest's only goal just 13 minutes into the contest. Kila Hartom collected seven saves to keep ETBU off the board.

The defense played strong in front of Hartom, helping her fend off a total of 13 shots in all by the Tigers. The Tornados answered with seven tries (three on target).

Concordia returns home Friday for a 1 p.m. match against Ozarks at St. Stephen's Episcopal School. The Tornados will honor their seniors prior to Saturday's contest against nationally ranked UT Tyler. Kickoff is slated for 5 p.m.
