BOX SCORE AUSTIN, Texas -- The Concordia Texas men's soccer team fell 2-1 in overtime in a heartbreaking loss to UT Tyler senior night at Rouse High School on Saturday.

UT Tyler's  Leandro Cid Fernandez scored the game-winning goal with just over 90 seconds remaining in the first overtime.

The Torndaos' Diego Outeiral scored the game's first goal in the 60th minute, cleaning up after a missed penalty shot by Marshal Tucker.

It would look like the Patriots would get on the board shortly thereafter but an offside call nullified the tying goal at that point.

UTT would however get on the board late in the second. Fernandez netted the equalizer with just seven minutes remaining in regulation.

The Halloween spirit was in the air when the lights shut off for approximately 20 minutes with 12 minutes remaining in regulation.

Concordia goes on to make its first-ever appearance in the American Southwest Conference Men's Soccer Tournament. The Tornados earned the No. 3 seed and will take on No. 6 seed Ozarks at UT Tyler at 8 p.m. on Nov. 5.
