BOX SCORE AUSTIN, Texas -- The Concordia Texas women's soccer team fell 3-0 against top-10 ranked UT Tyler Saturday evening at Rouse High School.
Kila Hartom kept the Tornados in the contest, recording 22 saves, posting a career-high and CTX single-game record.
The Concordia defense held a UT Tyler offense to just three goals. The Patriots had averaged over five goals a game during the course of the season.
UT Tyler did not score until the 30th minute, when Morgan Monzingo scored the first goal of the night . The Patriots went into halftime up with a 2-0 lead after adding a second tally in the 38th minute.
UTT added an insurance goal in the second half.
Concordia earned the No. 7 seed in the American Southwest Conference and will travel to second-seeded Hardin-Simmons for its first-round game in the ASC Conference Tournament. Should they advance, the remainder of the tournament will be held at Hardin-Simmons. This is the Torndaos' seventh consecutive ASC Tournament appearance.
