CTX Women's Soccer Heads to Sixth-Straight ASC Tournament

AUSTIN, Texas -- The Concordia Texas women's soccer team makes its sixth consecutive appearnce in the American Southwest Conference tournament tomorrow.

The Tornados, who earned the seventh seed, travel to second-seeded Hardin-Simmons. This will be the third 2015 meeting between these two squads.

Concordia comes into the contest with a 4-10-1 overall record. In their last contest, the Tornados held UT Tyler to just three goals. The Patriots averaged 4.8 goals per game entering last Saturday's contest.

Maddison Hoskins leads the CTX attack with four goals and 10 total points. Defensively, Kila Hartom has found success in goal. She has three shutouts and has made 85 saves over the course of the season.

Meanwhile, HSU is on fire of late, netting 38 goals across their last four contests while surrendering just two. Kami Jones has led the hot streak, getting hat tricks in both of last weekend's contest to birng her season total to 22. Netminder Lexi Stinson has surrendered just six goals in over 900 minutes in goal for Hardin-Simmons. The Cowgirls finished the regular season with a 14-2-1 record.
