BOX SCORE AUSTIN, Texas -- The Concordia Texas women's basketball team took home its seventh straight victory Sunday afternoon with a 72-60 win over Rust College at the Concordia Fieldhouse.

The Tornados (7-1) relied on the 3-pointer to help get past the Lady Bearcats (1-9). sinking 10 over the course of the game. Emily Cullers drained four of those long range shots en route to pacing Concordia with 16 points. Jaela Dejean also finished the game in double figures, recording 11 points. Ally Terry led the Tornados with seven boards.

The Tornados outscored the Lady Bearcats 24-6 over the final 8:14 of the second quarter to help put the game away. Concordia held a 21-point advantage at the break.CTX held on to at least a 12-point lead in the entire second half.

Concordia begins a three-game road trip Dec. 30 at Schreiner.Tip-off is at 5:30 PM in Kerrville, Texas.
