AUSTIN, Texas – The seventh-seeded Concordia University Texas women's basketball team will open American Southwest Conference Tournament play against No. 2 seed Texas-Dallas in the quarterfinals at 2:30 p.m. Thursday at Herrington Patriot Center in Tyler.

ABOUT THE SEASON SERIES• Texas-Dallas won both meetings this season.
• The Comets earned a 71-54 victory on Jan. 15 in Austin.
• Texas-Dallas also picked up a 65-55 win in last Sunday's regular-season finale in Richardson.
• The two teams have never met twice in the ASC Tournament. Concordia picked up a 61-46 victory on Feb. 25, 2012, in the semifinals before winning the championship, while UTD collected a 79-70 win in last year's quarterfinals.
