BOX SCORE AUSTIN, Texas -- The Concordia Texas women's soccer team suffered a 2-0 setback against Howard Payne Friday evening at Town and Country Park.

The Lady Jackets tallied a goal in both halfs, with keeper Kelsie Piland stopping 10 Tornado shots on goal.

The Tornados had chances throughout the match, including a penalty shot, but could not find the back of the net. Meanwhile, keeper Kila Hartom kept Concordia in the game with five saves.

Victoria Sanchez and Brittany Davis had the goals for HPU.

The start of the match was delayed an hour due to lightning in the area.

Concordia goes right back to the pitch tomorrow against UT Dallas. Kickoff is slated for 5 p.m. at the Annex Field at Burger Stadium in South Austin.
